Hannah Tolson
Hannah is an illustrator, originally from West Yorkshire. She studied at Leeds College of Art and then Falmouth University, where she gained her degree in Illustration in 2013. She has since worked with a wide range of publishers worldwide including Bloomsbury, Walker Books, Ladybird & Nosy Crow.
Her work has been recognized on a number of prize shortlists, including the Little Rebels Award 2017 for Ossiri & The Bala Mengro, published by Child’s Play.
After some years living by the Cornish sea, she eventually moved back up north to her current home of Stockport, telling stories through pictures from her little studio by the rumbling trainline, with Murphy the Whippet snoozing by her side.
