Rachel Delahaye


After working as a magazine writer and editor for many years, Rachel now writes for children and is a regular visiting author at schools.

Her comic middle-grade series, Mort the Meek, illustrated by George Ermos, is published by little Tiger Press. She has written young fiction for Sweet Cherry and Farshore. She also writes educational titles and non-fiction.

Her dystopian teen novel, Electric Life, published by Troika Books, was longlisted for the Yoto Carnegie Medal for Writing 2024.

Rachel was born in Australia but has lived in the UK since she was six years old. She lives in Bath and is married with two children and a dog called Rocket.
